Talking Bibles In Mozambique

June 20th, 2010

CCO continues to distribute Talking Bibles in Mozambique in 2010. The minimum goal is to distribute audio Bibles to over 1,500 families and follow up with discipleship. From July thru September short term missions trips will venture across seas and into the bush to find some of the most illiterate peoples of the world. Due to almost two decades of civil war the illiteracy rate of Mozambique sores to a staggering 75% of the population. Notice the AK47 and a book with no words on their flag? How will they hear? Thru a Talking Bible in their language. Partner with us to continue distributing and recoding God's word for those who can not read.

Ewe Talking Bibles for Ghana

March 10th, 2010

Cross Connection Outreach is helping send Talking Bibles in the Ewe language to Ghana this summer. This week we are aiding in the formatting of the recorded Ewe New Testament to soon be loaded into the Talking Bibles that will help so many hear God's Word. Ghana as a whole is about 50% illiterate, but that rate rises as you enter into rural areas. There are over 3 million Ewe speakers found in Ghana and Togo. To find out more about this project visit www.GhanaTrinityTrip.com. CCO is committed to providing tools and training to build the body of Christ. If you are working with a people group that needs to hear God's Word please email us at admin@crossconnectionoutreach.org. We want to see how we can partner with you to make Christ known among the illiterate.

Royal Talking Bibles

January 26th, 2010

On Sunday the 24th, 2010 at the Carlsbad Marathon we were able to meet a Princess of The Kingdom of Swaziland. Cross Connection Outreach had the honor of presenting her with the first ever Siswati Talking Bible to be given to a native of Swaziland. It was a great opportunity to express our respect for the Royal Family and their beautiful country which is in great need of hearing God's Word and the truth about HIV. Swaziland will be apart of CCO's saturation campaign for the next year of 2010. We plan to hand deliver at least 500 Talking Bibles in rural communities where illiteracy rates are high. This project will cost about $30,000 and will enable at least 5000 people have access to hearing The Bible in their first language. If you are interested in sending the first Siswati Talking Bibles to those in need please do so by donating on line. Also for those interested in hand delivering Talking Bibles to those in need email is at deliverytripinfo@crossconnectionoutreach.org and we'll send you more info.
